The screen size is the main factor when it comes to choose a TV. The screen size depends on the number of members you have in your family. If you have more number of members in your family, then pick the largest screen size that will fit in your space and budget. Screen size can also be decided on the basis of how far you will sit to watch the TV. The best TV size is between 55 to 65 inches.

Screen Resolution is the number of pixels a screen can display, both horizontally and vertically. More number of pixels means sharper picture and finer details, so choosing the higher resolution is better. The common resolution is 1920 x 1080, which is also called HD sets. Now, the latest resolution is Ultra HD sets, which is also called 4K. These 4K models have 4 times more number of pixels than HD sets. With 4K sets, the smallest objects on the TV will also have more detail.

3. HDR

HDR is the new feature of 4K or Ultra HD sets. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. It has the ability to deliver more colors, better brightness and more contrast levels. HDR is the upgrade of 4K or Ultra HD sets. TV makers use new monikers for this feature to distinguish them from standard 4K or Ultra HD TVs. Dolby Vision is the version of HDR.

4. Refresh Rate

It is necessary to choose refresh rate, the one which is faster. The refresh rate which is expressed in Hertz (Hz), describes how many times per second a picture is refreshed on the screen. The standard refresh rate is 60 Hz. The standard refresh rate can make things look jittery or blurry. The best method to make picture solid and less blurry is by inserting black images between original pictures so that the viewer’s eyes can be tricked.

5. HDMI & Connections

You should always check the number of HDMI inputs that are available in the LED TV before buying it. You may find fewer HDMI ports in the TV which costs you less. You can use these ports in sound bar, Chromecast or a game console.

7. Contrast Ratio

The contrast ratio describes the range of brightness level a TV set can display. Better contrast ratio can display more subtle shadows and hues, and also better detail. The way manufacturers measure this ratios can vary on many factors. So, choose the TV which has better contrast ratio.

8. Audio

Even the most expensive HDTVs may have very poor sound. Even the large speakers when used may not produce rich and full sound. Therefore, it is better to make use of the sound bar in the right way possible. The best soundbars are thin enough to fit under a TV stand.
